Urban Wilderness Canoe Adventure Programs introduce youth to Mississippi River
In 2009, your support allowed Wilderness Inquiry to serve more than 6,000 urban youth on our Urban Wilderness Canoe Adventures Program, which introduces urban youth to outdoor recreation and conservation opportunities on the Mississippi River. The impact was profound. Youth who had previously only driven over the Mississippi River in a car, are now working to protect and clean the river. We received many notes like this one:
