He enjoys exploring the natural wonders of the state: the prairies in the southwest, the bluffs and valleys of southeast, the many lakes and rivers of the state and the beauty of the north shore.
He relishes watching the ever-changing weather while hiking, canoeing, fishing, birding, biking, cross country skiing and photographing. Ed is also a weather spotter for Metro Skywarn.
Pam Weier, Associate Director

She spends many weekends at her family’s cabin in Northern Minnesota, swimming, boating, fishing and hiking. She enjoys sharing the beauty of Minnesota with her two children.
Rachel Hoskins, Office Manager
Rachel has worked that the Minnesota Environmental Fund since March of 2004. Born and raised in Minnesota she has always loved this state. She enjoys spending time in Minnesota’s wilderness with her husband and dog as much as possible and in all seasons! They love to explore Minnesota’s many parks through hiking, camping, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and canoeing. There are so many reasons why she loves Minnesota including the diversity of the land, the vastly different seasons and all the other people who love Minnesota as much as she does. When not outside she likes to cook, bake, read and watch movies. She loves baking so much that she recently started a baking and pastry program at a local school.
