To upload your photos to Flickr™, you may use your existing Flickr™ or Yahoo!™ ID to login and join the 10,000 Reasons why contest. If you do not have a Flickr™ account, you can sign-up quick and easy for a free account at Flickr™.com. Flickr™ and Yahoo!™ are registered trademarks of Yahoo, Inc.
Once you join the
10,000 Reasons why 2008 contest group on Flickr™, you can upload your photos to the group. Then, tag each photo to the category you're entering using
"Adult-MEF08" for adult photographers or
"Youth-MEF08” for youth photographers.
Please include your statement (less that 30 words) that describes how the image submitted represents the reason you choose to protect Minnesota’s environment in the image's desription field.
If you do not tag your photo, it will not be considered for the competition. Staff and others may include photos in the public Minnesota Environmental Fund group and by doing so, allow the Minnesota Environmental Fund to use these images; however they will not be entered into this specific photo competition.
If you have multiple photos to enter in the competition, please consider using this method to enter the contest. If you have trouble using Flickr™, please consult their help files. The Minnesota Environmental Fund is not responsible for any issues or problems you encounter while trying to upload a photo on Flickr™.
