Voyageurs National Park Association (VNPA) protects and promotes the natural, recreational, and historic resources of Minnesota’s National Park, Voyageurs National Park, located on the state’s northern border with Ontario. Widely loved for its stunning scenic views and vast interconnected waterways, Voyageurs National Park is recognized as the nation’s premier water-based National Park, a haven for kayaking and boating, and a home to a diversity of northwoods wildlife.

Programs
VNPA is the only organization that supports Voyageurs National Park through advocacy for natural resource protection,
as well as direct financial and volunteer support and educational programs that encourage environmental stewardship of the Park.
— During the annual weekend-long Volunteer Rendezvous, VNPA engages youth and adults in hands-on habitat conservation through native tree-planting and removal of non-native plants.
— The Land Preservation Initiative is a long term program to help Voyageurs National Park acquire private properties within its boundaries when they are put on the market by willing sellers, which aims to increase visitor access, protect the shoreline ecosystem, and prevent future development on pristine land.
— VNPA’s Clean Air Campaign ensures that policies are in place and enforced to reduce human-caused air pollution in Voyageurs National Park, keeping Minnesota’s skies clean and healthy.
