Programs

MFA is one of only a few organizations in the nation that supports new immigrant and refugee farmers through its Big River Farms Program, supporting them with training in farm business management, production, marketing and connections to resources. All farmers are Organic Certified. MFA operates the Big River Farms CSA and distributes fresh organic produce wholesale to local retail stores, restaurants, distributers and other institutions primarily produced by the farmers in training as a means for training and income generation..
